Yay for the first journal entry!! Well, my name is Kate, and I've been cruising this site for a while so I decided to join. I've been drawing and painting since forever. I mostly do watercolors but I used to do acrylics and I'd love to pick that back up sometime soon. I've been kinda teaching myself about colored pencils in the last year, too.

About me- hmmm, let's see. I'll be a sophmore in high school this year. In middle school, besides art, I danced like crazy!! Jazz, modern, tap, ballet- I did everything. The dance program at my highschool isn't that great, so I do a little bit after school, but no where near as much as I used to. I decided to sing instead, and I am, like, addicted to it now! And since I don't have to take gym anymore, I can finally take art classes this year, which, along with chorus is the only reason I'm excited about school starting back! I also like playing piano- it's theraputic!

Soooooo, uhhhhhh, yeah! That's about it. Hopefully I'll get some stuff up within the next week or so.
